Coaching Business

You may be surprised to know that you can build a six-figure coaching business in just 12 months. It’s true! With the right approach, the right system, and the right mindset, it’s possible to take your passion and turn it into your next six figure income stream. Here’s how you can do it, too…

The First Decision

In order to build a six-figure coaching business, the first decision you need to make is whether or not you want one. It’s not for everyone, and it does take some work.

Most people who start out in this field have been working with clients one-on-one for years before they decide it’s time to take their skills and knowledge and share them with the masses. If you’re ready for that next step, read on!

Coaching Needs Structure

The first step in building any six-figure coaching business is figuring out what type of coach you want to be. You need a clear direction on the type of work you want to do, how much time you want to spend each day, and what your target market will be. The more defined your niche becomes, the easier it will be for people to find you.

Once you have figured out who your niche market is, it’s time to take the next step: creating content. Whether that’s videos or blog posts or webinars or podcasts, content will help grow your audience and keep them coming back for more. Next is finding the perfect way for people to connect with you. Do they prefer email? Text messages? Phone calls?

The Parts of Building an Effective Program

Plan – This is the point in your journey where you’re going to go through all of the steps outlined in this blog plan and write down what works for you and what doesn’t. Research – Researching your niche will allow you to know if there are any self-proclaimed experts in that area who have already laid out what needs to be done.

Create – Once you’ve researched your niche, the next step is to create an outline for what needs done, do the work and teach others how they can do it too! Build – You’ll want to build a six-figure coaching business by marketing yourself with any network marketing or social media avenues that suit your style or target audience best.

How Much Time Should You Spend on Your Program?

It is hard for me to answer this question, as every person’s situation is different. But some questions to ask yourself are…-Is your coach training program already in place? If not, when do you plan on starting it?

-Do you have a set price range in mind?

-How much time do you want/need to spend on your coaching business? The more time you spend on your program, the more likely it will be successful. But I would recommend not spending more than 15 hours per week (and preferably less) on your six-figure coaching business. Too many hours spent can lead to burn out and could affect your ability to get clients.

-What does success look like for you?

Where Can You Find Clients?

Finding clients is going to be one of the most difficult aspects of building a six-figure coaching business. They’re not just going to find you! There are some strategies that might help get you started with attracting prospects and acquiring your first few customers, including reaching out on social media and participating in online forums, guest posting on websites relevant to your target audience, writing articles or publishing books related to your industry, or even teaching classes or workshops.

If you have specific expertise that would allow you to work with an agency for a retainer fee and then work with their clients independently, this might be a great opportunity for getting some quick wins. Being associated with the agency will establish credibility as an expert in your field and provide instant access points from which to attract clients.

What Do You Need in Terms of Skills?

In order for you to start a six-figure coaching business, you will need the following skills:

– Strong listening skills

– Ability to offer solutions

– Positive mindset

– Self-awareness and introspection

Know What Your Program Includes and What It Doesn’t

The first step is making sure you know what your program includes and doesn’t. This is not the place for getting into too much detail, but I would highlight key features of my program so that people know what they are getting themselves into.

For example: My six-figure coaching business will guide you through transforming your mindset and habits so that you have more success in life. What’s important here is that my program will lead them on this journey.

Build A Community Around Yourself as An Expert Coach

A six-figure coaching business is made up of a community of people who trust your opinion and want to learn from you. Building this community will take time and consistency, but it’s worth the effort. Here are some ways you can start building your community today:

-Share helpful content on social media channels like Twitter, Facebook, or LinkedIn

-Find online forums where people in your industry share advice and resources

-Start a blog or podcast where you provide tips, tricks, or answers to common questions about the topic you specialize in

Conclusion

One of the keys to building a six-figure coaching business is focusing on what you are providing and who you are providing it for. You will want to speak with your clients so that you can provide them with an experience that they will want.

Once they get used to working with you, they will be loyal clients who pay well and use your services more than once. Working on building strong client relationships is key if you want your six figure coaching business dreams to become reality.
